A fusion of Art and Technology
Course Code: VTLOKSHDR
Duration: 1 Day (7 Hours) 9am – 5pm.
For children aged 10-16.
Pervasiveness of technology in today’s world create both opportunities and disruptions. Children need to become masters of technology and not slaves to it. One way of mastering technology is to learn the language that controls it and make it work for you. However, such learning should be embedded as part of a greater learning in their daily lives.
In the Art workshop, young aspiring artists will be making 3D rendering through sketching. In addition, they will be building their own obstacle course (used in the drone workshop) using a simple system to quickly and easily assemble pieces of cardboard, cartons, paper into… anything! Expand your child’s mind through 3D Art and open a world of possibilities to them!
In the Drone workshop, your child will learn to PILOT, CODE AND FLY a Parrot drone manually and through blocs coding. They will fly the drone through an obstacle course and if time permits, fly through their own creative obstacle course that they have learned in the 3D Art component.
Your child will be exposed to team work, patience and fun to discover testing skills in blocs coding, an excellent starting point to the fundamental understanding of coding.
